Speaker's Corner at Grey Roots
The Emancipation Festival, in partnership with Grey Roots Museum & Archives, invites you to a Speaker’s Corner event on Friday, July 29, 6-9 PM to celebrate 160 years of the longest continuous festival in North America.
Opening remarks: Jeff Smith, Chair of the Emancipation Festival and Mayor Ian Boddy
Guest speakers: Diana Braithwaite and Kathy Grant
Entertainment: Bobby Dean Blackburn and Diana Braithwaite & Chris Whiteley
Appetizers and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. Admission fee is $20 in advance. Tickets must be purchased through the Emancipation Festival and will not be sold at the Grey Roots front desk.

Gospel Sunday at Grey Roots
Gospel Sunday is a beautiful tradition of the Emancipation Festival, which we are thrilled to once again host in Moreston Heritage Village.
Join us on Sunday, July 31, from 12-3 PM for a memorable afternoon of gospel in a picturesque setting.
