Dinosaur Discoveries: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas

Dinosaur Discoveries: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas is a thrilling, family-friendly exhibit that takes you beyond the bones to uncover what dinosaurs were really like. Featuring life-sized models, fossil casts, and jaw-dropping animations, this interactive experience brings the latest scientific discoveries to life.

  • See Dinosaurs Move! Watch a T. rex in action with biomechanical studies and a high-tech animation that builds a dinosaur from skeleton to skin.
  • Step Into a Lost World! Explore a stunning recreation of the Liaoning Forest, a 130-million-year-old habitat where dinosaurs thrived.
  • Unlock Dinosaur Secrets! Investigate how dinosaurs behaved - did their horns, frills, and crests help them fight, flirt, or fend off predators?
  • The Extinction Mystery! Explore the explosive theories on what ended the Age of Dinosaurs—asteroids, volcanoes, climate change—and meet the dinosaurs' modern-day relatives.

Dinosaur Expert Tim Jeffries returns to Grey Roots on Saturday June 28th! Tim will bring samples from his personal collection including genuine fossils and replicas to display and discuss, and will share his knowledge of all things prehistoric in two presentations!
