PA Day Adventures 2017 - 2018
So much fun, they won't know they're learning! PA Day Adventures at Grey Roots are fun and educational. We welcome children aged 5 to 10 to spend the day with us learning about our current exhibits through hands-on activities, visits through the galleries, games, and crafts.
What are the three stages of matter? Can a liquid be a solid at the same time? Complete experiments, explore weird reactions and make discoveries as Grey Roots does some Wacky Science.
A priceless artifact has been stolen from the museum! Develop and use your detective skills to find and follow clues. Decide on suspects and in the end become our Hallows' Eve Detectives to find out what really happened.
Do you have what it takes to become a super hero? What does it really mean to have x-ray vision, and can a person really heal faster? Explore these questions and more by becoming your own Super Human.
How far does the universe stretch? What are some planets habitable where others are not? What really happens when a star dies? Look up into the stars and explore the galaxies beyond our own.
Music comes in many different forms and was used for many different reasons. Today we explore the ways that we can look and play music.
How deep does the ocean go? What creatures live in the furthest reaches of the ocean? We know more about space than we know of the very oceans that cover our planet. Come to explore and discover our ocean’s oddities!
All cultures have tales and superstitions of the things that go bump in the night. Do you have what it takes to go Into the Woods?
