Fall Lecture Series 2023
For the 2023 edition of our Fall Lecture Series, we present the Remembrance Series - a selection of poignant Remembrance themed lectures. Lectures are held on Tuesdays throughout November: November 7 and November 14 in person in the Grey Roots Theatre only, November 21 and 28 virtual - online only.
November 7: Canada in the Sicilian and Italian Campaign, Second World War - host Mat Johnson will be connecting virtually with speaker Mark Zuehlke
This lecture is held in person at Grey Roots at 1:00 p.m. It will be livestreamed in the Grey Roots Theatre only.
November 14: The Dashed Hopes of the 26th Army Tank Regiment during the Second World War: "The 'Grey and Simcoe Foresters' were no more" with Dave Alexander
This lecture is held in person at Grey Roots at 1:00 p.m.
November 21: Lest We Forget, Grey County's Black Military History with Bonita Johnson-deMatteis
This lecture is presented online on the Grey Roots YouTube page at 1:00 p.m.
It will be available for repeat viewing after the 1:00 p.m. premiere.
November 28: The Meaford Tank Range Story with Stephanie McMullen
