Spring into Moreston 2024
This event is rain or shine, though we're rooting for shine.
It's back! Our celebration of Spring returns with loads of fun for the whole family.
All the fun takes place in Moreston Heritage Village, with live music, farm animals, great food, and lots more "Spring" themed activities.
The event runs from 12-4 PM on Saturday, May 25.
Activities
- Enjoy live music with JD Crosstown at 12:30 and 2:15 PM
- See live farm animals in a historic farm setting
- Watch the Orange Peel Morris Dancers perform live Morris Dancing
- Purchase a delicious bite to eat from the Owen Sound & District Jr. Optimists Club (cash only, ATM on site)
- Learn about Anishinaabe culture and language with Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences
- Try your hand at several games and crafts which really bring the spring!
- View model railway demonstrations courtesy of Bluewater Railroaders
- Explore our Heritage Village and some of our most popular heritage buildings - all fresh from spring cleaning!
Due to weather concerns, the alpaca petting zoo with Kickin' Back Alpaca Ranch has unfortunately been cancelled.
Admission
Grey Roots Members*: FREE (this does not include members from our reciprocal partner museums, see note below)
Family (2 adults + kids): $27.50+tax
Senior (65+) & student: $8.50+tax
Adult: $10.50+tax
Youth (5-12): $6.50+tax
Child (under 5): FREE
Admission includes access to the museum galleries, but does not include food. Advance tickets/reservations not required.
*Reciprocal members from Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, Huron County Museum & Historic Gaol, Simcoe County Museum, and the Region of Waterloo Museums are required to purchase admission to Spring into Moreston. The reciprocal agreement is valid only for free regular admission and does not apply to special events.
Please note that pets are not permitted on the grounds of Moreston Heritage Village.
