Did you know that Orchids of Bruce & Grey is a Canadian bestseller?  When the Owen Sound Field Naturalists (OSFN) planned to revise the out of print guide, Willy Waterton and Audrey Armstrong volunteered to update the original analogue photos of the orchids with digital imagery. The new, fully illustrated 5th edition has two pages for each of the 49 species of orchids from Bruce and Grey counties. Join Audrey and Willy for an engaging recounting of their two-year orchid quest adventure and enjoy a fascinating overview of the many orchid species found throughout Ontario! Copies of the revised Orchids Bruce & Grey will be available for sale, with all proceeds going to OSFN.

This presentation is part of the 2024 Spring Lecture Series taking place in the Grey Roots Theatre on Tuesdays March 19, 26, and April 2 (series starts the Tuesday after March Break). Talks begin at 1:00 PM. (A second talk will be added at 2:30 PM if there is enough demand.) Complimentary refreshments following. Lectures are free with regular admission. Members free as always.
