Canning Workshops with Adriene's Canning & Jamming

Join Adriene Mackenzie, of Adriene's Canning & Jamming for canning workshops jam-packed with fun and helpful tips. These hands-on workshops cover all the steps to successfully can your own preserves - safety, equipment, and all the techniques Adriene has honed in 30+ years of canning. Canners will prep, create, and can their recipe before going home with a jar full of the fruits of their labour. Workshops include tastings of Adriene's canned preserves.

Truth & Reconciliation Film Screening: Soop on Wheels

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, please join us for a free screening of Soop on Wheels on Friday September 29 at 2:00 p.m. This 1998 documentary presents the multi-layered story of political cartoonist Everett Soop, a brilliant yet under-recognized Blackfoot humourist, journalist, and public speaker.
