Castle Builder

May 27th, 2017 - January 6th, 2018
Builders of all ages are invited to explore, build and play in the traveling exhibition –Castle Builder! In this exhibit kids and their families are transported to a fanciful kingdom where they too can become castle builders, building their own toy castle brick by brick.

Saints & Sinners: A Spirited History of Grey County

October 5th, 2013 - December 31st, 2017
This exhibit tells this story from the early days of our first settlers, to the wild days of Prohibition; from our highly successful breweries and distilleries to our secretive bootlegging operations and many things in-between.

Nels Maher Print Shop

Every Thursday from 1:30 - 4 p.m. you have an opportunity to view demonstrations and to ask questions when print shop veteran Doug Iles is on duty in the Nels Maher Print Shop.

Arrivals & Departures: The CPR in Grey County

June 27th, 2015 - December 31st, 2017
In 2011 Grey Roots was approached by Clive Morgan on behalf of the Bluewater Modellers, with a proposal to build a diorama representing the east side of the Owen Sound Harbour circa 1910.

Natural History

The Grey County Gallery presents the history of Grey County's people, against a backdrop of the County's natural features; its forests, farmlands, waters, and rocks. Presentations are made through static displays, film and hands-on computer station.

Local Heroes

Grey Roots has many wonderful stories of incredible people that have been part of the Grey County Legacy.  The front foyer of the Centre showcases five of our Local Heroes.
