Nels Maher Print Shop

Our Print Shop is named in the memory of a friend to Grey Roots, Nelson Maher. Nels worked for what added up to hundreds of hours - first to restore the equipment, then to set it up so that it could be viewed, and finally in giving tours, interviews and demonstrations.

Natural History

The Grey County Gallery presents the history of Grey County's people, against a backdrop of the County's natural features; its forests, farmlands, waters, and rocks. Presentations are made through static displays, film and hands-on computer station.

Black Roots in Grey

February 1st, 2019 - February 28th, 2019
Black Roots in Grey is the next chapter in the history of Grey County’s Black community. With the arrival of the earliest settlers such as John “Daddy” Hall, Richard Ringo, and others, Black people have worked hard to make a place for themselves where they could live and raise their children in freedom and peace.
