Neighbours & Nature
Week 1: June 29-30, July 2-3 (4 days due to Canada Day, no camp on the holiday)
Week 5: August 4-7 (4 days due to Civic Holiday, no camp on the holiday)
Community isn’t just something we live in; it’s something we build together. During this special week, campers will explore how friendships, shared spaces, and everyday actions help shape the world around them. Through creative projects, teamwork challenges, and visits from inspiring guests, we’ll discover what it means to contribute, connect, and truly belong.
We’ll also dive into activities that help campers learn about diversity and inclusion in age appropriate, meaningful ways. From stories and games that celebrate different perspectives to hands on projects that highlight the value of every voice, campers will explore what it means to create a community where everyone feels welcome.
Get ready for a week of new faces, big ideas, and moments that bring us closer as a community.
Cooking Quest III: Back to Basics
Week 2: July 6-10
Week 6: August 10-14
An additional $40 fee applies per participant for this week.
Cooking Quest III: Back to Basics invites campers to slow down, roll up their sleeves, and rediscover the fundamentals of great food. This week focuses on essential kitchen skills—simple techniques, smart choices, and the building blocks of confident cooking. Participants will rotate through a variety of fun, food‑focused KidsCamp activities, exploring topics like food safety, budgeting, nutrition, and how everyday ingredients come together. They’ll also spend time in the café, helping with one of the day’s recipes and putting their new knowledge into practice, especially around hygiene and handwashing. Each afternoon, campers can sample the café’s creations if they choose. At the end of the week, we’ll share the recipes and reflections from the group.
If your participant has specific diet needs, contact us before payment.
After registration, participants will receive a short digital survey to help us tailor the program to their interests and skill level. If your camper has a favourite recipe or technique they’d like to share, we’d love to hear about it in the survey.
