Step into the celebration at 50 Years of Summerfolk, a vibrant exhibit recognizing half a century of music, community, and creativity. Hosted in beautiful Moreston Heritage Village, this exhibit traces the roots and evolution of the Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival - from its humble beginnings in a muddy field to its current status as a cornerstone of Canadian folk culture. Discover the stories behind this beloved festival!
Visitors will enjoy a specially curated playlist of music by Summerfolk performers, filling the exhibit with the sounds of the festival. Whether you're a longtime "folkie" or new to the scene, this exhibit offers a heartfelt journey through the melodies and memories that have made Summerfolk mean so much to so many. Come celebrate with us and see why - rain or shine - Summerfolk continues to strike a chord.
The 50th Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival was held at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park in Owen Sound from August 15 to 17, 2025.
