This lively presentation will explain the science behind the natural phenomena of solar eclipses and where and how to experience them over the next 5 - 6 years.
Presented by John Hlynialuk of the Bluewater Astronomical Society (with images from other BAS photographers). John Hlynialuk is a retired high school teacher who has been an avid stargazer for most of his life. John continues to work to promote the wonders of astronomy for students and the general public at the ES Fox Observatory at the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre. He also writes a bi-weekly star column which appears in the Sun Times, Wiarton Echo and other local publications.
