Reel Roots - catch a movie at the museum!

Reel Roots presents major film releases on the big screen in the Thomas Wheildon Theatre at Grey Roots.

Next up, we present an Earth Day themed screening of The Lorax on Saturday April 26th!

The Lorax is a vibrant animated film based on Dr. Seuss’s beloved book, following a young boy named Ted who sets out to find a real tree in a world where nature has been all but forgotten. Along the way, he uncovers the story of the Once-ler and the Lorax, a grumpy yet wise creature who speaks for the trees. With colorful visuals and a message about environmental responsibility, the film blends humor and heart for audiences of all ages.

Admission to Reel Roots screenings is included with regular admission, and free for Grey Roots members! No advance registration - seats available on first come first served basis. Please note that no food or drink besides water is permitted in the theatre.
