This January we've put together a great list of programming activities, all designed with the whole family in mind. You and your kiddos will have a blast making tie-dye and cookie art, or trying your hand at campfire cooking, or even getting scientific in the snow! Whichever program you choose, you can expect to have fun, get creative and make some memories!
All the action takes place at Grey Roots, with some programs running indoors, and others held in beautiful Moreston Heritage Village. Sign up for the morning session, or the afternoon. Better yet - sign up for both and make a day of it! Please note that all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Admission to the Museum is included with your registration and Grey Roots Members receive a 10% discount! Just pick your activity and date, read the details, and register below.

Like tie dye and want to try a new method? Or brand-new to tie dye completely? Join us for some ice cold fun creating a colourful tote from a t-shirt. Participants will dye a shirt and then create a prototype tote bag to learn the method. Sewing machines will be used but is very straightforward. Assistance will be available for those new to sewing.
Some projects may not be ready to take home on the day. Projects will be safely kept until Friday for pick up.

Looking for something new to make your sweet tooth smile? Join us for Campfire Cooking School! Tuesday's class will focus on fruit. By fruit, we mean, Banana Boats and Olive Oil Orange Cakes made with a campfire. Tasty treats to try as a family!

Create your very own edible watercolour masterpieces on a cookie canvas! This program will be led by local baker Majesta Elder and will include recipes and tips and tricks for creating the perfect canvas for future edible art pieces. Each participant will create six works of edible art!

The snow will be optional, but the science won't be! Join us to talk science and get your hands dirty with experiments in Moreston Village. Experiments will be guided by participant interests. Snow volcanoes, melting ice races, winter animal signs and more will be discussed and explored. Can't wait to see what you are curious about!

Join Tammy, EarlyON Early Literacy Facilitator, for some fabulous, free hands-on activities in our foyer.
This free drop in program is available from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult, and a parent/guardian must remain with their child at all times.
EarlyON protocols are being followed during this program.
